Jimmy Garoppolo found out he was a taken man from an unexpected source.
TMZ linked the 49ers quarterback to model Alexandra King in March, following what appeared to be a date at Disneyland. Garoppolo said he wasn’t even aware of the alleged romance until friends brought it up.
“It was news to me,” Garoppolo, 26, said in a feature story by Bleacher Report.
King originally went public with Garoppolo in February, posting a sweet Valentine’s Day snap on Instagram. She erased it following his recent meet-up with porn star Kiara Mia, 41.
According to Bleacher Report, former teammate Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bündchen tried to organize a double date with a model at one point, yet the ex-Patriot still isn’t sure what to make of bold direct messages on social media.
“You’re not even sure if it’s a real person,” Garoppolo said. “You just pretend they aren’t. … The comments are the weirdest part. The DMs are even crazier.”
Garoppolo did not divulge how he and Mia met, following last week’s now-infamous dinner date. But this fling may not last, as the adult film star recently partied with World Cup champ Samuel Umtiti and Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema.
Mia was spotted leaving West Hollywood hot spot Poppy on Monday night, according to TMZ, shortly after giving Garoppolo rave reviews.
“Jimmy and I had an amazing dinner, and he treated me with so much respect, and class. Honestly, we’re friends,” Mia said.
